Welcome to the Pakistan Country Gateway

The Pakistan Country Gateway (PCG) is a portal designed to facilitate the sharing and exchange of knowledge through an application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the establishment, enhancement and sustainability of tools that faciliate the conduct of more efficient and more effective government and business.

The PCG has four major roles. Depending on how it is used, it can be:

• a portal where users can find information, resources and tools
• a platform to share materials, conduct dialogue and solve problems
• a medium for the creation, storage and enhancement of knowledge, and
• a facilitator of development in Pakistan.

Note: The PCG website is in a transitional phase as we shift web servers. It is, therefore, not currently hosted on an open source content management system (it was previously hosted on the Joomla! CMS). We will switch back to the PCG's open source CMS showcase model shortly.
